Legislative Bills passed:

HB2226 passed
It causes annual law enforcement retirement fire arms qualification for who want to carry fire arms, and a certificate to be created and carried, not less that one year before the date the officer is carrying a firearm.

HB2519 passed and effective 6/10/2010
It was a LEOFF 2 Bill that was inclusive of all safety employees to provide a duty related death benefit, meaning for our survivors to be able to request State higher education free tuition. Few LEOFF 1 family members still work and could be lost in the line of duty.

HB2625 passed, effective 1/1/2011
Requires an individualized judicial determination of bail for any release of a felon; this would help to contain a dangerous person. Other related bills did not pass.
