Founding Fathers:
Over lunch in Lacey/Olympia WA, seed money from Mark Curtis, Larry Dickerson, Remi Hansen and a few others paid for some regional mailings inviting people to come to Yakima and meet to see if we should organize.
In Yakima $80.00 in change and $1.00 bills allowed some more communications and a second meeting resulted in several hundred dollar contributions by Bill Logan, Jack Jones and a few other generous people.
Point made: $80.00 and change put us all on target to protect our LEOFF I pension fund and benefits.
